Once you reach the final elevator, you are brought to the Shop (Explained later), and after that you are brought to the next floor. Note that it doesn't matter WHICH elevator you leave for last all that matters is that the other elevators have been triggered. You must trigger all but one elevator (Cause this gate to fall), and then the final elevator will not be out of order, and will be one you can exit out of.
But later floors have multiple elevators, and trying to exit through one will cause a large gate with "OUT OF ORDER" to slam down from the ceiling, preventing you from using the elevator. The first floor has only one elevator the one you start in. Every time Baldi makes contact with you, you are sent back to the elevator you started in and lose one life.Īfter collecting all notebooks, your objective changes to getting out, specifically getting to the elevator. The main threat is Baldi himself, who is the only character who can actually 'kill' you and cause you to lose a life. Sounds easy, right? Well, the challenge of the game comes from trying to avoid the various characters who will try to stop you from achieving this goal. After collecting all notebooks on a floor, the elevators will open, and you can enter the elevators. For example, the first floor will have 4 notebooks (assuming no generation issues occur).

To put it simply, the gameplay of Baldi's Basics Plus is exploring the randomly generated map with the objective being to collect all the notebooks on each floor. If you already know the basics (Ie notebooks, elevators, etc) then you can skip this segment. Before we actually get to the individual characters, items, strategies, etc, I'm going to quickly go over the base gameplay loop of Baldi's Basics Plus.
